The One Syndications team is thrilled to announce our latest acquisition, the 4YO Territories mare, BUTTERCUP, purchased at the April (early) Inglis Digital sales for a cracking price of just A$9k +GST. This purchase continues our expansion into South East Queensland, with BUTTERCUP set to join the James Healy Racing Team on the Sunshine Coast.
By Group 1 sire TERRITORIES and out of a Dawn Approach mare (Hepatica), BUTTERCUP comes from a strong family that includes Group 2 winner Gallatin. A lightly raced maidener with 8 starts for 5 seconds and 1 third placing - this horse is ready to win and we think she gets every opportunity to do just this in SEQ. BUTTERCUP has been incredibly consistent, placing in 75% of her starts, and has been within a length of the winner in her last 5 runs. It’s only a matter of time before she breaks through.
