A racehorse syndicate is a group of people that have an ownership stake in a race horse, and is a fantastic way to own a racehorse at a fraction of the cost of racing a horse yourself. Each owner purchases a share (minimum is 2.5%), and the expenses and prize money are paid per the percentage held

One Syndications delivers a true racehorse ownership experience, providing regular weekly updates on your horse through both training and spelling, detailed pre- and post-race reports, and exclusive access to our portal for images, videos, and trainer insights. Stay connected and informed at every stage.
• Events. At One Syndications, we enrich your ownership experience with a range of exclusive events. From stable open days and race day hosting to Christmas parties and special One Syndications gatherings, our community-focused approach offers unparalleled access to your horse and elevates your race day experience, ensuring the best possible journey in racehorse ownership.
• No administration. From initial purchase to racing to day-to-day management - we take care of all administration associated with the horse. The only thing left for you to do is show up on the day, get involved in our events and be a part of the excitement that is thoroughbred horse racing. 
• Ease. Owning a race horse has never been easier than with One Syndications. We take care of all the ground, while also taking on board any feedback to ensure that we make your racehorse ownership experience, the best it can be.

The process is very simple. Once you sign up to our mailing list through our website, we will contact you as we purchase new horses or have shares available in existing horses. If you are interested in a horse, send us a message, email or give us a call and we will sort everything for you from there.  

The share price is calculated to include the horse’s purchase cost, and all outlined expenses in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).

Ongoing costs for each horse vary, depending on its needs and whether it's in training or resting. In Australia, the average annual cost to own a racehorse is around $50,000 – $60,000, which can guide your expected monthly expenses based on your share.

At One Syndications, we streamline ownership to enhance your experience. We've simplified the process by handling all payments and consolidating them into one detailed monthly invoice, ensuring you are only charged the actual costs from trainers and suppliers. Our commitment to integrity means we're always transparent about charges.

We charge a $40 monthly management fee per horse for each owner, with discounts for multiple horses. For detailed fee structures, please refer to the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).

The monthly management fee at One Syndications encompasses a wide range of services, ensuring a comprehensive and enjoyable ownership experience. This includes race day ticketing, detailed pre- and post-race reports, and consistent weekly updates on training and spelling progress, complete with track work videos, photos, and voice reports. Additionally, the fee covers exclusive One Syndications events, such as stable open days, BBQs, Christmas gatherings, and all associated administrative duties.   

All prize money won is paid directly to your bank account by the racing authority in the week following the race. One Syndications does not handle any prize money.

At One Syndications, our expert trainers and racing managers continuously assess each horse's performance. If we determine that a horse might thrive better elsewhere or should be moved on, we ensure thorough communication and detailed feedback to you as the owner. Our focus is on winning races and maximizing prize money returns for our owners.

Should there be external offers to purchase a horse, we will relay this information to the owners. Decisions on such matters may involve a 'majority' voting system among the owners. To proceed with selling a horse, a 60% majority vote among the Syndicate group is required.

Racing QLD restricts the number of owners named in the race day booklet to 20 per horse. Every shareholder of 5% and greater will receive full race day privileges including course entry, members and mounting yard access.  If you are hoping to attend a race day when your horse is racing, One Syndications may secure extra tickets for you and your  guests if we have plenty of notice, subject to availability of course.

Tried horses, or horses that have previously raced, will already have a name, and we will continue to use this name when racing tried horses under the One Syndications banner.

For yearlings, all owners will have a chance to suggest names, with the most popular voted on.
